Roberto Scalzullo founded the practice following extensive experience in London and abroad, working on a variety of prestigious commercial and residential projects. His expertise spans from the design of luxury homes to the thoughtful restoration of Listed Buildings, with a particular focus on house extensions and loft conversions.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

Roberto completed his Master’s degree in Architecture in 1996, specializing in Design. In 2025, he was shortlisted for Retrofit Designer of the Year.

With over twenty-five years of experience as a qualified architect, Roberto has developed a well-rounded background in structural design, cost estimation, and site management. His portfolio reflects a broad range of projects in both Italy and the UK, including significant works such as Blackfriars Bridge Station (while working at Jacobs) and 80 Charlotte Street (a Derwent development), where he served as Senior Consultant at AFK Studios.

At times, depending on our workload, we collaborate with remotely based professionals. This approach allows us to optimise costs for our clients by reducing overheads and benefiting from location-based efficiencies.

    Dissertation: Retrofitting primary schools in Wales to improve energy efficiency and thermal comfort.

Emilia Butler

– Interior Designer

After graduating from Gdańsk University of Technology in 2005 with a Master’s Degree in Architecture, Emilia worked in several architectural practices in Poland and the UK. She has experience across commercial, residential, and industrial projects, preparing documentation for building permits.

In recent years, Emilia worked for one of the leading interior design practices in London, gaining extensive experience in high-end residential and hospitality projects. She is proficient in all phases of the interior design and construction process, including project narrative, technical design, site management, coordination, and client presentations.
